Complete with half-titles, title-pages, explanatory text to each plate, introduction (2 pp) s. Bound in two volumes. Finely bound in modern brown half morocco with four raised bands. Housed in slipcase. Last 25 plates with light damp staining to lower corner. A few plates a little tightly shaved, close to the numerals. A fine set. A fine copy of “The earliest suptuous ornithological work to be published in Scandinavia, and the first work of this kind which exclusively applies Linnæus’ method in its nomenclature”.
